AbViser AutoValve IAP Monitoring Device

AbViser AutoValve IAP Monitoring Device- Efficient, standardized monitoring system with proven clinical accuracy1

Using the AbViserAutoValve IAP Monitoring Device, measurements are obtained in approximately 30 seconds. This easily obtained data allows clinicians to trend the pressures and intervene in a timely fashion;

  • Standardized data – Proven accuracy and reproducibility1
  • Automatic Valve with Time Release – Eliminates clamping and turning of stopcocks
  • Closed system with Syringe Sleeve – Helps reduce risk of Catheter Associated Urinary Tract Infections (CAUTIs)2
  • Early IAH recognition – Consistent monitoring improves outcomes3,4

Intra-abdominal hypertension (IAH: IAP>12 mmHg) occurs in more than 50% of all surgical and medical ICU patients5. Prevention and early detection of this condition is essential for protecting patients from its life-threatening consequences, such as abdominal compartment syndrome (ACS: IAP>20 mmHg).

WSACS (World Society of Abdominal Compartment Syndrome) recommends that patients should be screened for IAH/ACS risk factors upon ICU admission and in the presence of new or progressive organ failure. WSACS has generated concensus definitions and shares knowledge on diagnosis, management and treatment of IAH and ACS. http://archive.wsacs.org/consensus.php
